Revision Checklist

The revision checklist will guide students through their writing which will empower students to notice missed information, improve elements of narrative writing, and notice areas that are a strength.

 

Conference Form

The conference form includes one teacher version and one student version.  The student version also allows students to fill out a form before the conference, which encourages higher-level thinking about the writing process. Finally, the teacher version allows you to take notes on the conference.

 

Checkpoint Sheet

the checkpoint sheet is a road map for the narrative writing unit, with due dates that are are graded on a point scale and other due dates that are a rubric score.  The rubric score is based on Common Core State Standards and ranges from 0-4.  This sheet will save time in the end when grading the final draft.
