Poetry Analysis Stations
Looking for a way to engage your students in poetry analysis? Middle school students often moan and groan when they have to analyze poems - because poetry seems just beyond their grasp. Let me help you get your students engaged in poetry analysis.
Poetry Analysis Stations Middle School is a low-prep way to get your students thinking about a poem or poems on a deeper level, without the struggle. Each station focuses on a specific element of poetry and breaks the task down into easy-to-complete steps.
If you’d rather have students complete this independently or as a whole class, I hear you! I have included a poetry analysis checklist that has the same tasks as the stations - just simplified and ready-to-use.
